Sami completed his undergraduate education at the University of Oklahoma before earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Austin. His educational and clinical experiences helped develop a passion for working with a wide variety of patients and creating individualized treatment approaches that help people return to the activities they enjoy.
Dr. Sami Hijazin is a licensed Physical Therapist with experience across outpatient and hospital-based rehabilitation settings. He has worked with patients ranging from neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, stroke, Huntington’s disease, and multiple sclerosis to orthopedic and sports-related conditions. Sami especially enjoys combining movement, exercise, and patient education to help people regain function and confidence.
Sami values communication, empathy, and delivering meaningful care. He believes that understanding each patient’s goals and perspective allows him to provide better treatment and create an environment where patients feel supported and motivated throughout their recovery.

Sami wants to help patients move beyond frustration and unrealistic expectations during recovery. He believes that meaningful progress often takes time, and his goal is to help patients stay encouraged, trust the process, and build long-term success rather than relying on quick fixes.
Sports orthopedic injuries, Parkinson’s disease, neurological rehabilitation, return-to-activity care, and performance-based rehabilitation.
