Accessibility Statement

Accessibility Statement.

Our commitment to making this website usable for everyone, what we've done, and how to reach us if something isn't working for you.

Our commitment

On Point Movement & Performance is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. We want every visitor to be able to learn about our services and request an appointment, regardless of ability.

Conformance standard

This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Section 504 rule and commonly used as the benchmark in web accessibility litigation and settlements. WCAG 2.1 AA is a widely accepted, though not the only, standard for measuring web accessibility.

Measures we've taken

We have taken the following measures to support accessibility on this site:

  • Included accessibility as part of our design and build process, rather than as an afterthought.
  • Provided a skip-to-content link, clear landmark regions, and a logical heading structure on every page.
  • Written descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and hidden purely decorative icons and graphics from assistive technology.
  • Built forms with real, programmatically associated labels, visible error messages, and required-field guidance rather than color-only cues.
  • Made every interactive element on the site operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator, including our mobile navigation menu, our FAQ accordions, and our appointment request form.
  • Made sure the site remains readable with JavaScript disabled or unavailable, and that animations respect your device's reduced-motion setting.
  • Checked text and background color combinations against WCAG AA contrast requirements, and adjusted colors that fell short.
  • Reviewed the site with automated accessibility testing tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks.

Ongoing review

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We periodically review this site as it changes, and we welcome feedback that helps us find and fix issues we may have missed.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some parts of this site rely on content or systems outside our direct control:

  • Google Reviews widget. The reviews carousel on our home page is powered by a third-party widget (Elfsight). We've verified that a text link to our reviews on Google is always available even if that widget fails to load, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of the widget's internal controls once it loads, since we do not control that code.
  • Third-party intake form. Our patient intake form page offers a secure HIPAA-compliant form hosted by JotForm as one of three ways to submit your intake paperwork. That form's accessibility is JotForm's responsibility, not ours; our intake page also offers an on-site form and a downloadable PDF as alternatives.
  • Downloadable intake PDF. The downloadable patient intake PDF on that same page was produced from a word-processing document and may not be fully optimized for screen readers. If you have any trouble with it, call or email us and we will complete it with you over the phone or send it in another format.
