Sports rehab in Richardson.

Rest got you to comfortable. It never got you back to competing. A cause-first evaluation finds why it happened, then you rebuild to what your sport actually asks, one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, every visit.

Cause-first evaluation Built around your sport Talk to a Specialist

What It Is

Comfortable is not the finish line.

Sports rehab is the work between the injury and the return. Not rest until it stops hurting. A rebuild that ends when your body can take what your sport actually asks of it: the cut, the serve, the last mile, the heavy set.

You already know how to push through. That’s the skill that made you good, and it’s exactly why a small strain turned into a season you watched from the sideline. Give it another six months and the workaround becomes the injury: the hip covering for the ankle, the back covering for the shoulder.

So we look at the whole chain, not just the sore spot, then load it back in stages. Pain, Prime, Perform, Prevent. Calm what hurts. Rebuild the strength underneath it. Put your sport’s real demands back in. Then keep the same thing from returning. We work with golfers, pickleball players, tennis players, runners, gym athletes and weekend warriors, alongside Arianna Lopez, ATC, and Dr. Cole Cisneros, PT, DPT, a golf and running specialist.

What It Helps

Where Sports Rehab helps most.

For getting cleared against your actual sport, not a generic checklist.

What A Session Looks Like

Three steps, every visit.

1

We test the whole chain, not just the sore part.

2

Hands-on first, then the load your sport asks for.

3

You leave with the next progression and the standard to hit.

Why It Works

Four things you get back.

You stop wondering if it’s safe to play.

The old injury quits picking your season.

Strength comes back where it actually failed.

You return on a standard, not a hope.

Questions, Answered

Sports rehab, no mystery.

No. Rest is a phase, not a plan. Total rest calms the pain and quietly costs you the strength you need to come back, which is why the same injury shows up again the week you return. We keep you moving in the ways that are safe while we rebuild the part that failed, so your return is a progression you earned instead of a gamble you take.

Not to get started. Texas Direct Access lets you see a licensed physical therapist for up to 30 days without a physician referral. Treatment beyond 30 days does need one, and we flag it well before you get there so nothing stalls in the middle of your plan.

Sooner than most athletes wait. By the time an injury feels ready, the muscles around it have usually given up strength you will want back. We assess first, then start at whatever load the tissue can safely handle and build from there. If you are under a surgeon’s care, we coordinate the timing with them. Not sure where you stand?
