We locate the inflamed tissue.
Inflammation is what stalls everything else. Laser therapy calms the tissue down so the hands-on work and the exercises can finally do their job.
What It Is
Laser therapy is non-invasive and drug-free. A therapeutic laser is held against the skin, and its light energy passes into the tissue underneath, where the swelling and the pain actually live. No needles. No incisions. Nothing to recover from afterward.
Down at the cellular level, that light can support several things at once: more ATP for tissue repair, better circulation so oxygen and nutrients reach the area, lower inflammation, and calmer nerve sensitivity. We use professional-grade equipment, including systems from Kapha Physio, and we adjust wavelength, intensity, and duration to the tissue we’re treating.
Here’s the part that matters. We don’t sell laser as a standalone treat. Thermal imaging shows us where the inflammation actually is, and we calm it so the joint tolerates the hands-on work and the exercise progression in the same visit. It sits inside a plan built from a cause-first evaluation, one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, every visit. The alternative is another six months of rebuilding on top of tissue that never settled down.

No. There is no needle and no incision. Most people feel mild warmth where the laser sits, and some notice slight redness at the site afterward. It is non-invasive, drug-free, FDA-approved, and you can ask us to stop at any point. Nothing here gets sprung on you.
We do not sell laser as a standalone treat. It earns its place because calmer, less inflamed tissue is what lets the hands-on work and the exercise progression actually land, and that is where lasting change comes from. The research behind laser therapy is encouraging and the technology is FDA-approved, but we use it where your case points to it, never as a promise on its own. The number of sessions comes out of your evaluation and gets set with you, one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, every visit.
Coverage for laser therapy varies by plan, and some plans do not cover it at all, so we check before you start rather than after. We work with Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, and United Healthcare. Call us and we will verify your specific plan before your first visit, at (972) 526-5693.
