About On Point Movement & Performance

The clinic that treats the cause.

Most clinics manage your symptoms and call it a plan. We built this place to end them: one-on-one, with a licensed physical therapist, every single visit.

Our Story

This isn’t our story. It’s yours.

Larry Hernandez, LPTA, founder of On Point Movement & Performance

Larry Hernandez, LPTA, Founder

Larry Hernandez grew up in a small West Texas town, and he will tell you the values there are the reason this clinic runs the way it does: be honest with people, respect their time, and actually care how it turns out. He studied Kinesiology at Midland College and finished his physical therapy education at Odessa College.

Twenty years of clinical work later, he has built the certifications on purpose, not for the wall: SFMA and FMS for movement screening, soft tissue mobilization, and dry needling. Every one of them exists to answer the same question, which is why this hurts, not just where.

He is married to Jen, dad to Hannah, and his family fosters. When he is not in the clinic he is on a pickleball court or in a CrossFit gym, which is exactly why he understands patients who refuse to sit still. The people who do best here are the ones who fix things: their houses, their teams, their families. This is where they finally fix the thing they’ve been putting off: themselves.

“Results without the runaround.”

What We Believe

Four things we’ll never compromise.

Your hour. Not shared.

No techs bouncing between rooms, no handoffs mid-visit. Just you and your therapist, the whole time.

Cause first. Symptoms follow.

You’ve probably chased the pain itself before and never found why it started. We find the why, then the ache stops coming back.

Plans end. That’s the point.

You shouldn’t need a punch card. Every plan comes with a graduation date, so you always know how close you are.

You’re not a protocol.

Your job, your body, your goals: that’s what your plan is built around, never pulled from a generic sheet.

The Difference

Not your typical clinic.

A typical clinic

  • You explain your pain to a different aide every visit
  • Your hour gets split with two other patients
  • The same pain creeps back in a few months
  • No graduation date, just book again next week

On Point Movement & Performance

  • One-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, every visit
  • Your full hour, uninterrupted, every time
  • A cause-first evaluation before we treat anything
  • A plan with an endpoint, mapped out on day one

Feel the difference in your first visit.

The Team

The people behind your recovery.

Rooted in Richardson

This is our neighborhood too.

Larry has spent 20+ years treating people in Texas, and this is the neighborhood he chose to do it in: your neighbors, your teammates, your kids’ coaches. The mom who’s been pushing through it so nobody else has to worry? She’s probably on our schedule too. Recovery is a lot more personal when it’s local.
