Erica Magana

PTA FMS, SFMA

Erica grew up in Plano, Texas, and has strong roots in the North Dallas community. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Biology from the University of Arkansas and completed her Physical Therapist Assistant education at Tarrant County College. Her background reflects a strong foundation in movement, rehabilitation, and patient-centered care.

Erica is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with experience across outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, transitional care, and neuro-focused rehabilitation. She is certified in FMS (Functional Movement Screen) and SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment), allowing her to identify movement limitations and tailor treatment to each patient. She works with patients of all ages and abilities, helping improve strength, mobility, balance, and confidence through individualized care and clear communication.

She wants to help patients overcome the frustration and uncertainty that often come with pain or injury. She focuses on helping patients feel heard, understand their treatment plan, and build confidence in their ability to move and function again. She enjoys treating orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, balance and mobility deficits, and patients working to regain strength, movement quality, and independence.

Outside of work, Erica loves staying active and enjoys working out regularly. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family and believes that maintaining an active lifestyle helps her better relate to and motivate her patients.
